Your information matters

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information may be collected when you use the Super Kids Dental website, how it may be used, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through this website and its online features. It does not replace the notices and forms you may receive from a Super Kids Dental office concerning dental records or protected health information.

Please do not use a general website form or chat to send urgent, highly sensitive, or detailed medical information. Call your Super Kids Dental office for help. For a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Information we may collect

Information you provide

When online appointment requests, referral tools, chat, or contact features are available, you may choose to provide information such as your name, telephone number, email address, preferred office, appointment preferences, and the content of your message.

  • Appointments: the parent or guardian’s name and contact information, the dates of birth of children attending, the selected office, and appointment dates, times, and changes.
  • Patient referrals: the patient’s name and contact information, the referring provider’s name and telephone number, preferred office, referral notes, and any PDF referral document provided. These submissions may contain health information.
  • Career applications: the applicant’s name, email address, telephone number, position and location of interest, résumé PDF, and any additional information the applicant chooses to share.
  • Chat: contact information provided to start a conversation and messages exchanged with our team.

Information collected automatically

Our website host and service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the dates and times you use the site. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to operate, secure, and understand the website.

Information from other sources

If you contact us through a third-party service or follow a link to another website, that service may provide information according to its own settings and privacy policy.

How we use information

We may use information collected through the website to:

  • respond to questions and appointment requests;
  • connect families with the appropriate office or service;
  • coordinate patient referrals and review career applications;
  • operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • understand how visitors use the site;
  • maintain business records and prevent misuse; and
  • meet legal, regulatory, and safety obligations.

How information may be shared

Information may be shared within Super Kids Dental and with vendors that help provide website hosting, communications, analytics, mapping, security, or other services. These providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

Appointment and chat information is routed through our website and communications systems to support replies and office coordination. Referral submissions are emailed to our designated referral-coordination mailboxes, and career applications are emailed to our careers mailbox. Those emails include the submitted details and, when a document is attached, a private download link. Wix provides website, booking, messaging, email-delivery, and file-storage services used by these features; our business mailboxes use Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy.

Our embedded office map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and Leaflet map files delivered by unpkg.com. Loading the map contacts those providers, which receive technical information needed to deliver the map, such as your IP address and browser information. These map connections remain available when optional analytics are rejected; they are separate from optional Wix usage analytics.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect the safety or rights of patients, visitors, staff, or others, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or transfer.

The site may link to services such as Google Maps. When you follow an external link, that provider’s privacy practices apply.

Children’s privacy

Super Kids Dental cares for children, but this website is intended for use by parents, guardians, and other adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information online directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental permission. If you believe a child submitted personal information through the site, please contact us so we can review the request.

Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to ask about personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, or exercise other privacy choices. To make a request, call us using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You can change your optional cookie choice at any time using or the same control in the footer.

Cookies and optional analytics

Necessary cookies and browser storage support security, your privacy choice, and features such as bookings, forms, and chat. Hosting, map, and video providers still receive information needed to deliver those services. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent those requested features from working.

Optional Wix usage analytics remain blocked until you accept. We remember your choice in this browser using the skd_cookie_choice cookie for up to 180 days; clearing cookies removes that choice. Analytics stay blocked on booking, appointment-management, referral, and careers pages and pages containing query parameters, even after acceptance. Advertising trackers are not enabled.

Our controls also keep optional analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Saving a changed choice reloads the page so the new blocking policy takes effect. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics on subsequent page loads; it does not erase information already sent. Browser settings can also remove previously stored cookies.

Security, retention, and updates

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal obligations, and to resolve disputes.

Referral documents used for patient care are added to the relevant patient’s chart in our dental software. Career applications are reviewed through our careers mailbox; if a résumé is saved separately for hiring coordination, it is kept in our restricted-access managers’ hiring folder.

Uploaded referral documents and résumés are stored as private files. The download links included in notification emails expire after seven days, but link expiration does not delete the stored file, email, or any copy already downloaded or added to another system. Files, messages, and related records remain subject to our retention practices and applicable obligations; this website does not automatically delete them after seven days.

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
