At Super Kids Dental we have passion for providing the best dental care for children possible. We take pride in our customer service and how hard we work to connect with our patients. We treat our patients like family, because we realize the importance of making our patients feel comfortable. We are one of the rare kids dental offices that allows the parents to come into the treatment rooms with their children, because we believe in letting the parents see exactly how we treat their children. We strongly believe in honest and ethical practice and we always look forward to a long-lasting relationship between us and our patients.
We make sure to use the latest and greatest dental technology for children including digital x-rays for instant results, digital patient charts, nitrous gas to relax your child, and much more.

Founders and Doctors
Dr. Christine S / Owner
Dr. Christine is the principal founder of Super Kids Dental. She has received her degree in dentistry from the University of Southern California in 2009.
Right after her graduation from school of dentistry, Dr. Christine devoted her time and committed herself to working with children only, which is something that has always been a passion of hers. Nothing feels more rewarding to her than helping the children in the Southern California communities with their dental care.
Dr. Christine has extensive experience and knowledge in the field of pediatric dentistry and her goal has always been to start a children's dental practice which provides the best and state of the art dental care possible. In 2014 her dream came true and she opened the first Super Kids Dental office in the city of Boyle Heights.
Since then, Super Kids Dental has grown to reach out to more communities in the Southern California area while maintaining the same great quality of dental care.
When Dr. Christine is not spending her time helping children with their dental needs, she spends time with her own children. She also enjoys traveling, working out, cooking, taking her dogs for a walk, family gatherings, and much more.
Allen P / Owner
Allen and Dr. Christine are not only partners in business but also partners in life. Allen brings his strong mathematics, engineering, and computer skills to today's competitive and highly digital and computerized world of dentistry in order to perform statistical and financial analysis of the business as well as developing computer programs in order to run the business as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Allen received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of California at Berkeley and his graduate degree also in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He specialized in controlling and enabling 2-legged robots to walk and has authored/co-authored a few publications regarding this topic.
Allen has worked for NASA as an Aerospace Engineer for over 10 years and has been involved in several space projects. His trainings and skills in solving complex problems have proven invaluable in today's dynamic business world.
He is also a professional photographer who has won many international awards in photography contests. He has developed his unique style in studio lighting which he applies on professional athletes and dancers.
Allen has lived in and visited many countries in the world and speaks 4 languages.
Allen's main hobbies are photography, baseball, soccer, traveling, movies, and much more.
Dr. Anisha
Dr. Anisha has always had a special place in her heart for kids. She spent most of her childhood in Seattle, Washington, where she developed a love for helping children in the community as a youth group leader and camp counselor.
She studied to become a dentist through the accelerated six year program at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. During dental school, she went on a mission trip to Fiji to provide free dental care for underprivileged children, and that's when she realized how rewarding it felt to be able to help kids improve their health. She was able to connect with the children and help them overcome their dental fears, which is when she realized she had a passion for working with kids.
After she received her doctor of dental surgery degree in 2011, she completed a hospital residency in New York where she worked with medically compromised patients and children, learning to provide safe dental care. She completed a second year of hospital residency in the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles and began working in private practice in 2013.
She lives with her husband in Long Beach and enjoys cooking and going for walks.
Dr. Andee
Dr. Andee was born and raised in Texas, where she knew she wanted to be a dentist since the age of nine. Her passion for dentistry began when she would help her next door neighbors with their loose teeth. From there, Dr. Andee went to dental school at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she would go on several dental mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala. These trips, which focused on pediatric dental care, sparked Dr. Andee’s passion for pediatric dentistry. She strives everyday to help make the pediatric dental experience as pleasant as can be through love, attention and fun.
When Dr. Andee is not at Super Kids Dental, she is at home enjoying time with her sister, taking runs on the beach, enjoying new food or exploring Los Angeles. Dr. Andee can be described as fun, loving, genuine and ethical. She strives daily to be the best dentist and friend she can be. She’s never met a human she didn’t like. Dr. Andee hopes that she gets the pleasure to help as many kids as she can through education and oral hygiene improvements throughout her time as a dentist. Fun fact about Dr. Andee is that she played volleyball in college.
Dr. Oh
Dr. Oh's passion for dentistry and especially for pediatric patients comes from her time volunteering with various groups such as American Red Cross and Redlands Outreach Group. Her time volunteering all over California as well as overseas gave her the motivation to become an excellent dentist with a focus on pediatrics. Inspired to provide the excellent care she saw from her time as a volunteer, Dr. Oh pursued her education first at La Sierra University, receiving a BS in Biomedical Sciences. She then received her D.D.S. from Loma Linda school of Dentistry. Since then she has committed herself to becoming an excellent dentist who can provide an experience that will have the kids coming back again and again.
Dr. Oh is a newlywed who is enjoying married life! Their hobbies include cooking, watching football, and hiking just to become hungry for dinner.
She is currently looking into getting a Welsh Pembroke Corgi puppy.
Dr. Katerina
Dr. Kat is a skilled clinician and has worked many years as a dentist for children. She is passionate about working with children as she loves connecting with them. At Super Kids Dental, she brings her energy and fun playful spirit to ensure that her patients are comfortable and feel safe. She attended University of Texas in Houston for dental school and spent time serving underserved communities in Guatemala. With her unique knowledge in psychology and human development, Dr. Kat makes it her mission to create an easeful and fun experience for the child in the dental chair.
She believes in living life to the fullest which to her means indulging her sweet tooth with candy while also placing oral hygiene as a top priority. In her free time, Dr. Kat can be found rollerblading along the beach boardwalk and spending quality time with her friends.
Dr. Elizabeth
Dr. Elizabeth was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended UCLA for both her undergraduate education and dental school. Her passion for working with children began when she taught Sunday School at a local church. She continued to follow that passion by traveling to Mexico to provide dental care at an orphanage, volunteering at a nonprofit children’s dental clinic in Burbank, and participating in additional pediatric rotations in dental school to further her knowledge of children’s dentistry. After graduating dental school she worked in a few general practice offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, but ultimately her love for working with children brought her to Super Kids Dental. Her number one goal is to provide honest, compassionate, quality dental care to all of her patients. She strives to make everyone’s experience at Super Kids Dental a positive one and is excited to meet you and your family.
During her free time, she loves relaxing on the beach, practicing her swing at the driving range, playing old school arcade games, and exploring all of the restaurants SoCal has to offer. Her guilty pleasure is watching The Bachelor and Bachelorette.
Dr. Hope
Dr. Hope Penner adores children of all ages. She grew up in Southern California and is passionate about serving her community. She is honest, kind, friendly, and strives to provide compassionate care. Prior to dentistry, she received a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Health and taught Pre-School making her a great fit to work as a children’s dentist.
Dr. Hope graduated dental school from University of Southern California. While at USC, she was awarded a grant for working to address the unmet dental needs of children in foster care at the county hospital, LAC-USC. She also served on many dental mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala.
At Super Kids Dental, her goal is to use her enthusiasm and positivity to help children feel comfortable and enjoy their experience. She loves working with staff as a team to provide excellent care. She uses her unique background in nutrition to emphasize a prevention of cavities and taking good care of teeth at home to promote overall health.
In her free time, Dr. Hope loves ice skating, tennis, and running. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes and cooking for her family. Her favorite color is pink with sparkles!
Dr. Araxi
Dr. Araxi Mirzoyan is originally from Venezuela where she became a dentist in 2009, she later moved to Colombia and earned a degree in Orthodontics and Dento facial Orthopedics in 2013. She later moved to the United States and earned her DMD degree at the university of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Araxi’s bubbly personality and experience working with kids and teens make her appointments fun and easy for our patients.
Dr. Araxi is also fluent in Spanish and during her free time she loves spending time with family and her dog, Luna.
Dr. Ingrid
Dr. Ingrid graduated from UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston, where she discovered her passion for working with kids by volunteering on weekends at a nonprofit pediatric clinic and on mission trips to Thailand and Ecuador. She originally grew up in Taiwan and after moving to the US, received a B.S.A. degree in Biology and a certificate in Business from UT Austin. She loves interacting with children and believes in the importance of fostering good dental habits from a young age. She is committed to providing quality dental care while giving kids the most positive experience possible!
After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Ingrid relocated to the west coast to be closer to family. She loves the sunny weather and outdoor activities; on her days off you can regularly find her on the beach, at the farmers’ market, paddle boarding with friends, or trying new hiking trails. She also recently adopted a rescue puppy named Biscotti that keeps her busy when she’s home from work!
Dr. Marina
Dr. Marina was born and raised in Massachusetts. Prior to attending dental school, she completed her Masters in Oral Health Sciences at Boston University with a thesis that focused on barriers to childhood dental care. She then went on and earned her DMD degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dentistry before moving across the country to Los Angeles to complete a general practice residency program at the West Los Angeles VA hospital.
Since a young age, Dr. Marina has been working with young kids in her community. She was a camp counselor at both her town and church camps for many years and she also spent many years as a Sunday school teachers for kids in preschool all the way through high school. Dr. Marina’s patient and compassionate personality and experience with kids allow her to help make all dental experiences as positive as possible.
In her free time you can find her exploring as much of Southern California as she can. She loves going to the beach, going to new restaurants, and all the diverse experiences that SoCal has to offer.
Dr. Connie
Dr. Connie was born and raised in Southern California and attended UCLA, where she received her Bachelor of Science in psychobiology. Her time there included a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where she discovered her love of improving communities and helping others. The trip, along with other eye-opening experiences during her undergraduate degree, solidified her interest in dentistry. She then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Upon graduation, she decided to move back to Southern California and apply her expertise to her hometown area where she can help her community and see everyone’s smiles.
With a love for learning languages, Dr. Connie speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Spanish, and is currently learning Korean. This has helped her form authentic and valuable connections with her patients and gives her the opportunity to more efficiently teach them proper oral care.
When not working with the adorable children at Super Kids Dental, she loves spending time with friends and family, searching for new restaurants to try, and watching the latest crime shows and reality TV.
Dr. Emilie
Dr. Emilie adores kids and found her passion of working with kids during dental school when providing free dental care to underserved populations. She attended UC Berkeley for undergrad and came back to SoCal to attend the University of Southern California where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In school, she was awarded a scholarship to recognize outstanding clinicians and support their development as leaders in the industry.
Dr. Emilie utilizes evidence-based and the most advanced techniques to provide treatment that is both safe and reliable for her patients.
Her creativity and bubbly nature helps make her appointments less nerve-wrecking and allows the patient to feel supported and calm. Dr. Emilie loves to connect with her patients and find ways to help inspire her patients to take care of their teeth.
When Dr. Emilie isn’t helping kids defeat sugar bugs, she loves going to the beach, hiking, skiing, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Dr. Kaushik
Dr Kaushik joined the Super Kids Dental team in fall of 2022. Originally from India, he has lived in 3 different countries before making Los Angeles his home. He completed his PhD in Craniofacial Biology from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, USC, followed by a DDS from University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry.
His clinical experiences in serving kids from underrepresented communities in Skidrow, Los Angeles and rural Minnesota exposed him to the stark disparities in oral healthcare. Working with kids gives him spontaneity and joy!
He enjoys learning about different cultures and food, and celebrates diversity. In his free time, he enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Armenak
Dr. Armenak is super happy to join the wonderful team of Super Kids Dental! You can also call him Dr. Arm. As a little boy, Dr. Arm didn’t have enough access or knowledge about how to take good care of his teeth. He ate too much chocolate and his teeth weren't in a very good condition. That’s why Dr. Arm deeply understands the importance of dental hygiene from young age based on his own experience. In order to prevent this from happening to other children, Dr. Arm is determined to educate and treat children of all ages with the knowledge he has gained at USC dental school. Not only did Dr. Arm served underprivileged communities during his time at USC, he also spent his free time educating children in his own neighborhood and answering questions from their parents. Dr. Arm believes the earlier children and parents pay attention to the health of their teeth, the fewer problems they will face in the future.
Dr. Arm and his wife enjoy playing badminton, tennis, making barbecues and going to the beach together! They also love exploring different kinds of cuisines around the city when they are not creating their own unique recipes at home.

Dr. Omar
Dr. Omar is originally from the east coast and grew up in Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His passion for children’s dentistry began with his childhood dentist who always made dental visits fun and stress free. His passion was furthered during a mission trip where he cared for underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic who were unable to receive routine dental treatment due to lack of access to care.
After graduating from dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the U.S. Air Force, where he furthered his knowledge in Children’s dentistry, surgery, aesthetic dentistry and TMJ therapy. After finishing his service with the Air Force he moved to Southern California to be with his wife. His experience and training in cosmetics, surgery and children’s dentistry allows him to confidently diagnose and provide the best treatment for your child. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, surfing, hiking, swimming, and paddleboarding.
Dr. Yang
Dr. Maichao Yang grew up in Riverside, CA and attended the University of California, Riverside where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Yang then went on to attend Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed her Master in Medicine in Science, as well as her Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Yang is excited to be part of the Super Kids team and to provide compassionate and quality dental care to all her young patients.
During her down time, Dr. Yang enjoys doing CrossFit, pilates, tennis and hiking.
Dr. Smit
Dr. Smit Dangaria is excited to join the team of dynamic and caring healthcare providers and staff at Super Kids Dental. Already as a dental student at USC, Dr. Dangaria showed his compassion and commitment to the Los Angeles community and children through his work at dental clinics and non-profit community health organization
specializing in children’s dental care and patients with special needs. He continues to provide quality dental care to the children at Super Kids Dental.
In his free time, Dr. Dangaria likes to do activities with his family and dog Garfield. He loves to play tennis, go on canyon hikes and walks along the beach.
Recently, he became an avid fan of USC’s Women’s Basketball team after accompanying them on a school sponsored trip to Italy.
Dr. Dangaria received his D.D.S. degree from USC’s Ostrow School of Dentistry and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Dr. Dangaria is the author of several peer-reviewed publications in the field of stem cells, biomaterials and dental tissue regeneration. He is also a reviewer for several scientific journals.
